Quick Start

Connect your first application to the gateway with an API key and a model.

Create an API key

Open API Keys in the console and create a key with sufficient quota and access to your chosen model. Replace YOUR_API_KEY in the examples with this key.

Available models

The model list reflects key and group access, not compatibility with every API. Check supported_endpoint_types and the model documentation before selecting an exact model ID. A listed model may support only Responses, images or another API.

Send a request

Send messages to the chat completions endpoint. Replace YOUR_MODEL_ID with a model available to your key.

Troubleshooting

For authentication errors, check the key and its expiry. For quota errors, check your balance and key quota. If a model is unavailable, check its exact ID and group access. For rate limits, retry with backoff.
